Visit Slovenia

Young people, camping in the woods
Slovenian Lingo Kit

If you are heading out on an adventure in Slovenia, a few local words can make your trip way more fun. This quick guide gives you the basics so you can say hello, ask for help, cheer with new friends, and feel at home on the trail. Grab a phrase or two, try them out, and enjoy the journey.

We use a few letters that English does not have: č, š, ž. If you can not find them in your keyboard settings or symbols menu, you can swap them out. Use c instead of č, s instead of š, and z instead of ž. Just keep in mind that this is only a quick fix since the sounds are not the same.
