In 2015 Pope Francis issued the encyclical Laudato si’ or Praise be to you, which speaks about caring for our common home and is addressed to all people of the Earth. Its central question is: What kind of world do we want to leave to our descendants? It raises key questions about our existence, without which environmental efforts cannot achieve the results we hope for.
